I graduated from high school in 2004 and went into the United States Marine Corps. I enlisted for a total of five(5) years active duty. Went to Parris Island, SC for boot camp and New River, NC for MCT. My specialty was communications i.e. radio communications, satellite communications, networks, computers, etc.
I was very proficient in my job. I had the technical knowledge of all the systems we used in my field of work, that sometimes other Marine commands would ask if I could teach their Marines. It is a very special feeling that you get when you are in a position in which you are relied upon because of the knowledge that you have.
But anyway, I got out August 1st of 2009 after five(5) years of honorable service. I wanted to re-enlist but I had injuries that prevented re-enlistment. I loved my job and the Corps, but not the BS that went on while I was in. Now I am back in school trying to get my degree in Computer Forensics so that I can work at NCIS(Naval Criminal Investigation Service). So that is where I am sitting at right now.
My sister showed me this website and I figured I would join to possibly help people out there in the cyber world. Most of my hubs will be technology driven. Like my first hub(IN PROCESS) is about understanding satellite communications. I wil have others such as setting up wireless networks, cell phone security, network security, so on and so forth. So wish me luck and I will do my best at this HUB stuff!!!!
